Chilli is a world renowned spicy fruit and is both sweet and hot. With our Vula Viti Chilli Vodka, we set out to create a Fijian liquor that captures the essence of the fruit. Crafted with a complex process of distillation and maceration of our own Fijian Bongo chilies, this vodka delivers a unique sweet and spicy taste that works well straight up or adds a delightful kick to any fruit juice.
This cocktail is a twist on the traditional margarita. Perfectly paired with a warm Fiji sunset.
50mls Vula Viti Chilli Vodka
30ml Lime juice
10ml Cointreau (or any triple sec)
Salt for the rim (best served with chilli salt)
Lime wheel for garnish
Putting it together
Rim your Margarita glass with Chilli salt before you start to make your cocktail.
To your shaker add the Vula Viti Chilli Vodka, lime juice and triple sec.
Add a generous amount of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds (keep in mind that ice that is not solid will melt too quickly and will ruin the cocktails taste.
